Seemingly random incidents in the lives of several characters as the perform, sleep around, drink and pretend they're important. The movie was a poke at American politics and pop culture. It was one of those obtuse movies that nobody gets but that some people pretend to understand so they can feel superior to those who honestly admit they don't get it.
