Description:Toward the end of WWII in Europe, German prisoners are recruited to act as spies for the American Army. One German, code named Happy, truly believes that the best way to help his country is to have the Nazis defeated. He volunteers to be a spy and is sent to find out where a Panzer unit is stationed. He manages to find the information. On the way to his post, he discovers that he's being followed by a Gestapo agent. He kills the man and finds his own name on a list of suspects. He runs and is chased. He connects up with an American agent and gives him the information. The two attempt to swim across the Rhine to the American forces, but Happy is captured. His information gets back to the Americans.

Review - Decision Before Dawn

Very suspenseful. The film was shot in Europe using real ruins from the war as sets, which gave it a great feeling of authenticity. The acting was a little wooden, but not bad for the story. It portrayed Happy as an example of heroes who are forgotten.
