Description:A scientist discovers evidence of a prehistoric creature along the Amazon River. He hires a boat and takes a crew of researchers, including Mark (Richard Denning), David (Richard Carlson), and Kay (Julie Adams) to look for more evidence. They soon realize there's a living creature—part fish and part man—living in a lagoon. While they debate back and forth whether to try to escape, kill, or capture the creature, the monster picks off several members of the crew. The creature blocks their route out of the lagoon. While the researchers try to escape, the creature kills Mark and captures Kay. David chases it into a grotto and manages to rescue Kay and wounds the creature, which disappears into the lagoon. The surviviors make their escape.

Review - Creature from the Black Lagoon

Primarily interesting because it's a classic and very campy. There isn't any actual plot apart from multiple encounters with a marginally scary monster.
