Description:Dustin Hoffman plays Jack Crabb, a 121-year-old man who is the only white survivor of the Battle of Little Bighorn. The movie is the story of his life. He was captured by Cheyennes when he was 10, then rescued years later by the cavalry. He lived for a time with a preacher and his wife, then became a snake-oil salesman, then a gunfighter. He joined Custer as a scout but quit when he saw Custer's men killing Indian women and children. He ended up with the Indians for a bit—married to four sisters. His Indian family is killed by the cavalry. He joins Custer again to kill him in revenge but chickens out and ends up accompanying the 7th Cavalry to Little Bighorn wherre an Indian who hates him but owes him a life dept rescues him and brings him back to the Indian who originally adopted him.

Review - Little Big Man

Long and boring. I'm pretty sure there was supposed to be an anti-war, anti-US theme, but mostly it just dragged. The one poignant moment was when Crabb's Indian family was killed in their camp by Custer's men.
