Reviews for Klute
Review - Klute
Slow moving. I wanted to root for Bree, but I couldn't. Among other things, she was played by Jane Fonda.

| Description: | John Klute (Donald Sutherland) is hired to investigate the disappearance of his best friend by the friend's boss. His only lead is a prostitute named Bree Daniels (Jane Fonda) who the missing man supposedly sent letters to. Klute gets to know Bree, and the fall for each other—even though Bree is convinced they have no future. In the end, it turns out that the missing man's boss likes to beat up prostitutes, and when the missing man walked in right as his boss was killing one, the boss killed him too. Klute figures it all out and arrives just as the killer is about to do away with Bree. The killer jumps out a window to his death. Klute and Bree go off together, but Bree is still skeptical that it can work. |
