| Description: | Joseph Turner (Robert Redford) is a CIA analyst working out of a small office in NYC. He wrote a report about a spy network that he discovered while reading documents and it got the attention at HQ. He comes back from lunch to find all his coworkers dead. He goes on the run. To hide out, he kidnaps Kathy Hale (Faye Dunaway) and takes her back to her apartment. He explains why he did it, and she believes him. She helps him track down some information and trick a couple of CIA big shots into meeting with him. In the end, the plot was a war game about an invasion of the Middle East for oil that got out of hand. The CIA tries to terminate him, but he reveals all to the newspapers and walks off. |
