Hoffman was great. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to think about Streep's role. She came across as a selfish child for whom I had no sympathy.

| Description: | On the night that advertising man (Dustin Hoffman) gets a promotion, his wife (Meryl Streep) informs him that she's leaving. Kramer is left with their young son. He struggled, and even loses his job, but manages to bond with the boy. Fifteen months later, the mother comes back and sues for custody. She wins, but can't bring herself to take the boy away from his home and father. |
