Description:Baroness Teri (Kay Francis) is the bored wife of a wealthy older man. The two of them are at a jewelry store when it is robbed by a debonair bandit (William Powell). Teri, thrilled with the adventure, refuses to cooperate with the police. The next night, the robber shows up in her bedroom. Police show up and cart them off—but it's not really the police, it's accomplices of the robber. They take Teri back to the robber's house. She and the robber admit their love for each other. The real police show up, and the robber takes off, but not before arranging to meet with Teri in France a couple days later.

Review - Jewel Robbery

A simple plot with a lot of fast dialogue and behavior that was obviously pre-code. I must have seen Kay Francis before, but I don't recall. She definitely has screen presence.
