Review - Out of Africa

I saw this 40 years ago when it first came out and haven't watched it again since. I won't need to watch it again. It's really a story about nothing — a woman makes a bad marriage, has an affair, gains a measure of respect among the British colonials in Kenya, and goes home. But Streep, whom I am not a big fan of, was excellent and the movie drew me in so that I was rooting for her.
