Description:Wealthy heiress Eve (Bess Armstrong) finds out that her dad's business partner is trying to have him declared dead to get all his money. Eve hires drunk pilot O'Malley (Tom Selleck) to help her track her father down. They fly to Afghanistan, Tibet and China before they find him helping a village ward off the attacks of a thug. Eve's dad reveals that the business has no money and that all the patents (where the money is) are in Bess's name. Eve and O'Malley help defeat the thug and fall in love.

Review - High Road to China

I saw this when it first came out. I recall liking it a lot more then than I did now. Too much yelling — the plot line that had the two main characters hating each other until they fell in love got old quickly. There just wasn't much humor, although I enjoyed Bess Armstrong's acting.
