Description:When the owner of the Cleveland Indians dies, the team is left to her widow, a former showgirl who wants to move the team to Miami. She can only do this, however, if attendance drops below a certain level. So she hires an unknown manager and a team of rookies and misfits. The catcher, Jake Taylor (Tom Berenger) is at the tail end of his career and wants just to play one more year — and win back his girl Lynn (Rene Russo). Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn (Charlie Sheen) is a delinquent with a great arm and an attitude. The team is doing better than expected when they find out that they were chosen to lose. They rally and win a one-game playoff with the Yankees.

Review - Major League

I remembered this being funnier than it is. There isn't a lot here. The baseball action is unconvincing. The players' stories, except for that of Jake and Lynn, is uninteresting. There's a lot of swearing and other crudeness.
