Description:When his marriage breaks up and his son Jason is about to drop out of college, millionaire Thornton Melon (Rodney Dangerfield) decides to enroll as a freshman. He has a fling with literature professor Diane Turner (Sally Kellerman). He tries to buy his way through his studies but is on the verge of flunking out. He studies hard and passes and manages to win the school diving competition too. Jason ends up with the hottest girl in school for reasons I'm not sure I comprehended.

Review - Back to School

Basically just a vehicle for Dangerfield to shoot off his one-liners. Nothing in the movie made sense or was supposed to. The son, Jason, was one of the most unlikable heroes in all of moviedom.
