| Description: | Walter Fielding (Tom Hanks) and his girlfriend Anna (Shelley Long) need to find a home. Their realtor convinces them to take a beautiful mansion which is on sale for a steal. The house soon starts falling apart, ludicrously so and they keep dumping more and more money into it. They hire the Shirk Brothers to do the work and it takes months. Along the way, Anna's ex-husband, Max (Alexander Godunov) shows up. One night Anna goes home with Max because Walter is out of town and she can't deal with the house by herself. She gets drunk and thinks she slept with Max. She tells Walter and they break up, but then Max confesses that it never happened. When the house is finished, Walter and Anna get married. |
