Description:Adrian Cronauer (Robin Williams) is a DJ on Armed Forces Radio in Saigon during the Vietnam War. His superiors don't like him because of his irreverence and tendency to talk about forbidden subjects on the air, but the soldiers love him. He falls for a young girl named Trinh and befriends her brother, Tuan. When it turns out that Tuan is actually Viet Cong, Cronauer is given a discharge and sent home.

Review - Good Morning, Vietnam

Adrian Cronauer was an actual, popular DJ in Vietnam during the war, but he wasn't as controversial or anti-war as Williams played him. There was a good story here, but Williams isn't remotely as funny as he thinks he is, so except for occasional moments, that part of the movie bombed. The story of his involvement with Vietnamese people with the backdrop of the war was interesting.
