| Description: | Mel Brooks' spoof of Star Wars. Forces from the evil planet Spaceballs, including President Skroob (Mal Brooks), Dark Helmet (Rick Moranis), and Colonel Sandurz (George Wyner) head to planet Druidia to steal the atmosphere. To force the king to give them the code to open the atmospheric dome, they kidnap his daughter, Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga) who was running away from her wedding. The king contacts Lone Starr (Bill Pullman), who roams the universe with his sidekick Barf (John Candy). The sneak onto the Spaceballs ship and rescue the Princess, but not before they get the code. The Spaceballs had to Duridia and begin removing the air, but Lone Starr, using the force he gained from Yogurt (Mel Brooks), manages to stop them and destroy their ship. When he learns from Yogurt that he's a prince, Lone Starr returns and marries Vespa. |
