Reviews for Mannequin
Review - Mannequin
Ridiculous plot, ridiculous acting. There may be a story idea in there somewhere, but this wasn't it.

| Description: | Jonathan (Andrew McCarthy) works in a mannequin factory. When he takes too long to make a mannequin, he gets fired. Several jobs later, and after his girlfriend Roxie breaks up with him, Jonathan sees the mannequin he made in a department store window. He gets a job at the store, and when he goes to see his mannequin, she comes alive, but only when nobody but Jonathan is looking. She tells him she's from ancient Egypt and her name is Emmy (Kim Cattrall). Together they make window displays that become the talk of the town. They fall love, but soon people begin noticing that Jonathan is spending time with a mannequin. A rival department store grabs the mannequin, and Roxie is about to destroy it in a trash compactor. Jonathan arrives in time to rescue her, and as he does Emmy becomes alive for real. Jonathan and Emmy get married in a storefront window. |
