Review - Knute Rockne All American

Pat O'Brien was a weird choice to play Rockne since he looked to be about 45 throughout the entire movie and spoke in an odd, clipped, half-shouting way that was really annoying. I think it was supposed to be inspirational, but it was just maudlin and cheesy. Ronald Reagan had a small role as George Gipp, legendary player who died of pneumonia shortly after his final game as a senior. I watched the movie to hear hims say, "Win one for the Gipper," so I can check that off my bucket list.
