Reviews for Five Graves to Cairo
Review - Five Graves to Cairo
It wouldn't stand up to a lot of thinking, but it made for a suspenseful war-time spy movie.

| Description: | A British soldier, Bramble, finds himself behind enemy lines in North Africa. He is mistaken for a waiter as a hotel where Rommel sets up his H.Q. The Germans think he spies for them and sends him forward to Cairo, not knowing that Bramble has figured out where the five supply dumps (five graves) that a German archeological expedition created before the war, pretending they were seeking Egyptian graves. The information Bramble takes to Cairo enables the British to stop the German advance. A French maid at the hotel thinks the Germans can help her get her brother out of P.O.W. camp, but she comes to believe in Bramble's cause and helps him escape. When he returns with the British advance, he learns she was shot by the Germans. |
