It's a classic war movie, but it doesn't really resonate with me much, maybe because there really isn't anybody worth rooting for.

| Description: | Major Reisman (Lee Marvin) is given command of a group of 12 prisoners on death row or with long sentences. He is given two months to train them for a suicide mission on a French chateau filled with German officers. The mission is a success but all the men are killed except Raisman, Wladislaw (Charles Bronson), and a sergeant. Wladislaw is restored to active duties and the dead men are recorded as dead in service. |
