Description:Neo (Keanu Reeves) is a computer hacker. He is contacted by a woman named Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) who encourages him to meet with Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne). Morpheus shows Neo that the world he knows isn't real. It's simply an illusion cast in the mind of humans by the artificial intelligence that rules the world. This AI uses humans as batteries to power it. Morpheus gives Neo a pill that wakes him out of the Matrix. He's rescued by Morpheus and the other rebels and taught how to fight and think in the real world. Morpheus believes Neo is "the one" who will defeat the AI. When one of Morpheus' crew (Joe Pantoliano) turns traitor, Morpheus is captured. Neo and Trinity rescue him, and Neo realizes how to operate outside his impressions. He defeats the AI agents sent to kill him and returns to Morpheus' ship determined to stop the AI and the Matrix once for all.

Review - Matrix, The

Set in a cold dystopian world, and filmed in cold green and blue to make it as harsh and unappealing as possible. I didn't bother trying to think deeply about it, but it was enjoyable on an action/adventure level.
