| Description: | When the NFL players go on strike, the owner of the Washington Sentinals hires McGinty (Gene Hackman) to coach a team of replacement players. McGinty asks college star Shane Falco (Keanu Reeves), who's been out of football for four years, to be the quarterback. Falco struggles to overcome his fear and manages to lead the team to three victories, which qualifies them for the playoffs just as the strike ends and the regulars come back. Falco's career is over, but he ends up with head cheerleader Annabelle (Brooke Langton). |
