Description:A short silent film. Four bandits board a train, blow up the safe and rob the passengers and take off in the engine and then on horseback. A posse is formed a follows and kills them and retakes the loot.

Review - Great Train Robbery, The

Interesting as perhaps the first movie with a narrative. The whole thing is shot with perhaps eight camera angles. The final scene, with the gunfighter shooting right at the screen, is iconic.
