Description:Gretta (Keira Knightley) is a songwriter whose singer boyfriend becomes a big star and dumps her. She's on her way back home to England from New York when a friend coerces her to perform at an open mike in a bar. She's heard by Dan (Mark Ruffalo), a down-on-his-luck music producer who hasn't signed anyone for seven years. He hears something in Gretta's music and convinces her to give an album a shot. With very little money, they record songs on the streets of New York. The studio wants the results, but instead they decide to sell it online for $1. In the process, Dan gets back with his estranged wife and gets close to his daughter Violet (Hailee Steinfeld). Gretta's boyfriend asks her to give him another chance, but she decides not to.

Review - Begin Again

I really liked the characters and the music and the fact that Dan got back together with his wife and daughter at the end. I didn't care for the lousy and unnecessary foul language throughout. The plot was just there to advance the music and wasn't much.
