Interesting but sad. Nobody in the movie got what he or she wanted out of life. Except, perhaps, for the sheriff who went looking for his runaway wife and ended up on a horse ranch with a good job and his infant son, there is no redemption for anyone. Just a bunch of people who ended up dead or disappointed. There were a lot more plot threads than what I covered, but basically it was a story of a search for happiness without a shred of faith.
