Description:Dawson (Luke Bracey) and Amanda (Liana Liberato) were high school sweethearts from different sides of the tracks. When his father Tommy beat him, Dawson ran away and found a home with widower Tuck. Tommy, in revenge, beat up Tuck. Dawson and his cousin went to confront Tommy and, in the fight, the cousin was shot. Dawson is sent to prison and breaks up with Amanda so she doesn't have to wait for him. Twenty years later, Tuck dies. Dawson (James Marsden) and Amanda (Michelle Monaghan) go to the funeral and reveal that they still love each other. Amanda goes back to her loveless marriage just in time to find out her son has been in an accident and needs a heart transplant. Meanwhile, Dawson's father shoots and kills him. Dawson's heart is transplanted into Amanda's son.

Review - Best of Me, The

I liked the four main actors who played Dawson and Amanda as high-schoolers and adults. But this was officially the cheesiest movie I have ever seen.
