Description:Private Eye Mike Shayne (Lloyd Nolan) hears a scream as he's taking his fiancee to their wedding. He investigates and finds two bodies — a theater producer and one of his actresses. Mike talks the newspaper and the chief suspect into paying him to find the killer, then follows a bunch of clues to another actor who shot the producer for stealing his wife years before. But by taking the case, Mike's fiancee dumps him.

Review - Dressed to Kill

Fast paced B-movie with tons of characters and almost as many plot holes. But it was funny in places, and enthusiastic and almost worth the hour it lasted. The only actor in it I recognized was William Demarest as a police inspector.
