Description:Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) is a young woman in Chicago who helps her family clean buildings. Then suddenly, she is almost killed by aliens but rescued by wolf-man, Caine Wise (Channing Tatum). Wise takes here to Stinger (Sean Bean), another alien and together the two men try to protect her. They fail, and she is whisked away to another planet where she finds out she's the reincarnation of a queen who was murdered by her oldest son. That son and his siblings are the rulers of the universe. They populate planets with people, and then harvest them for the elixir that gives them long life. The younger brother wants to marry her and gain control of Earth, the next planet to be harvested. The older brother wants to kill her because her claim to Earth is greater than his. In both cases, Wise and Stinger show up and save her. In the end, she goes back to Earth, and back to cleaning buildings, but at night she goes out with Wise and they fly over Chicago — him with his wings, her with gravity skates.

Review - Jupiter Ascending

Mostly just a big CGI mess. During the actions scenes that took up about half the movie, it was impossible to tell what was going on, but I didn't really care. The rest of the movie was either very dull, when characters were standing around moralizing about whether it was OK to harvest people for their own benefit, or a little bit creepy and a lot silly. The ease with which Jupiter accepted the fast-moving string of worlds and disasters and murder attempts and aliens and kidnappings, while falling in love with an alien half-wolf, half-man was, except in the most ridiculous of comic book worlds ... Oh, wait.
