I like the characters enough to hope they got their lives figured out, but I didn't want to have to watch it happen.

| Description: | Struggling, depressed actor Andrew Largeman (Zach Braff) returns home to New Jersey for the funeral of his mother. It's the first time he's been home in nine years — after his father sent him off to boarding school to get him away from his dark past (When nine, he pushed his mother who accidentally fell and was paralyzed. From that point, he was on anti-depressants.) While at home, he meets Sam (Natalie Portman), a quirky girl with epilepsy. As their relationship grows, Andrew decides it's time to get off the drugs and figure out his life. Eventually he decides not to go back to L.A. |
