Description:David discovers a video of his teenage self at his own seventh birthday party. With his friends and his sister, he finds blueprints of a time machine in his dad's workshop. David's crush, Jessie, gets involved. They build the machine and go back in time to get better grades, win the lottery and attend concerts. When David misses a chance to hook up with Jessie, he goes back by himself and they get together. But it causes a bunch of other problems that begin escalating the more they try to fix them until Jessie disappears. David goes back to his seventh birthday party and destroys the machine and blueprints. But back in real time, he finds a video of the adventure. The movie ends with him approaching Jessie.

Review - Project Almanac

It would have been much, much better if it hadn't been shot from "found cameras." Some of the shots made sense as the kids were taping their experiments. But at times it got creepy and weird and had me paying less attention to the story and more attention trying to figure out why a camera would be there. The camera angles and motion also gave me a headache and made many scenes impossible to follow.
