| Description: | Four friends, Tibby, Lena, Carmen and Bridget find a pair of jeans that fits all of them in spite of very different shapes. The pledge to take turns wearing them over the course of the summer and record what happens. Tibby (Amber Tamblyn) stays home and gets a job and meets a young neighborhood girl who has cancer. The girl, and her death, cause Tibby to stop being critical of others. Lena (Alexis Bledel) visits her grandparents in Greece where she meets a boy who helps her come out of her shell. Carmen (America Ferrera) visits her dad who is about to marry again. Carmen resents his attention to his new family but by the end of the summer is reconciled with him. Bridget (Blake Lively) goes off to soccer camp and seduces one of the coaches, but this somehow helps her come to grips with the death of her mother. |
