Even in a movie dripping with CGI, character is important. There was nobody here that liked, or even got to know enough to begin to care. There was no chemistry between characters. Most of the movie consisted of people sitting around in laboratories staring at screens or each other. When the action finally occurred in the final 10 minutes, the "problem" was solved ridiculously easily. In short, an implausible, boring movie with no reason to care.
