| Description: | Dramatized account of the real-life Eddie "The Eagle" Egerton, a British ski jumper who competed in the 1988 Calgary Olympics in spite of not being good at ski jumping. In the movie, Eddie is coached by the fictional Bronson Peary (Hugh Jackman), an alcoholic ex-jumper who botched his chance at greatness. Eddie became a huge hit during and after the Olympics for his determination and good attitude. |
