Formulaic, but it tried hard. I hadn't heard of any of the actors before, and I can tell why.

| Description: | Wealthy Patrick Ransom, Jr. (Russell Wade) is heading to the Pacific theater of WWII to pilot a bomber. When his fiancee stands him up, he spends his final night with Louise (Frances Langford), a night club singer. In the Pacific, his crew paints Louises's picture on the plane and names it "The Bamboo Blonde." When they have success against the Japanese, the plane and Louise become famous. The air force arranges a bond drive in the States. There are complications and problems with Partick's old fiancee, but in the end, he and Louise end up together. |
