Description:Fourteen-year-0ld Billy Batson (Asher Angel) is a troubled kid who spends his life running away from foster homes. His gets one last chance with the Vasquez family who already has five foster kids. While running from bullies, he's magically taken the lair of a wizard who gives him super powers. Whenever he says "Shazam," he's turned into a adult hero (Zachary Levi) with a fancy suit. He navigates his new identity with the help of Freddy, one of his foster-brothers. At first, he considers it all a lark, until he runs into Dr. Sivana (Mark Strong), a villain who has the personification of the seven deadly sins at his command and wants Shazam's powers. Billy figures out a way to give his powers to all his foster brothers and sisters, Sivana is defeated, and Billy finally has a home.

Review - Shazam!

Levi is the perfect person to play a kid in an adult body. I enjoyed the bits about Shazam learning to navigate his super powers. The story of him learning to deal with his new foster-family was OK. The super villain was dumb, and I hated the CGI of all the gray nasty monsters flowing out of the villain's eyeball, and the CGI fight scenes with the monsters. Those parts of the movie were dull.
