Review - Instant Family
Pretty much stayed true to what you'd expect from this type of movie. No surprises, but I still found myself rooting for them to make it.

| Description: | Childless couple Pete (Mark Wahlberg) and Ellie (Rose Byrne) decide on a whim to become foster parents for three kids whose mother is a crack addict. The eldest kid, Lizzy (Isabela Moner) looks out for her siblings and doesn't think she has to take guff from anyone. The five people in the house have the usual troubles and misunderstandings as they learn to trust each other and live together. Pete and Ellie decide they want to adopt the three. About that same time, the discover that a janitor at Lizzy's school is trying to get her to send him inappropriate photos. Pete and Ellie go to the school and beat up the janitor and get thrown into jail. They lose the court case for the kids, but the mom never shows up because she's back on crack. The second time around, the adoption goes through. |
