Description:Fred Atwell (Fred Astaire) is a celebrated ace in WWII. He's sent home for 10 days and decides to have a fling with Joan (Joan Leslie), a photographer he meets in a nightclub. But things get complicated when he falls for her. She like him too, but doesn't want a guy who isn't employed or contributing to the war effort. Fred lets her think he's a heel and heads back to the service, but Joan's boss (Robert Benchley) sends her on assignment to the field Fred is leaving from. When she sees him in uniform, she understands and pledges to wait for him.

Reviews for The Sky's the Limit

Review - Sky's the Limit, The

I liked Joan Leslie, but the movie was stupid. The plot wasn't bad, but the dialogue and many of the situations felt thrown together and nonsensical. The songs and dances thrown in also seemed out of place.
