The original premise was mildly amusing, but Olivier played his part like a moron and the movie went on far too long.

| Description: | Lawyer Logan (Laurence Olivier) has to take a room in a London hotel when the fog gets too thick for him to get home. A young woman, Leslie (Merle Oberon) is also stranded and worms her way into Logan's suite, eventually also taking over his pajamas and bed and relegating him to the floor in the sitting room. Logan is smitten, but when a client, Lord Mere, comes to his office and says his wife spent the night in a man's room at same hotel, Logan thinks Leslie is Lady Mere. Confusion ensues. When Logan finds out Leslie's been teasing him, he gets mad, but Leslie chases after him and marries him. |
