| Description: | Hustler Carlo (Tony Curtis) goes to California to make his fortune. The moment he arrives, Laura (Claudia Cardinale) somehow manages to destroy his car and everything he owns. He goes to her apartment to get her insurance information and runs into her boyfriend Rod (Robert Webber), a married man who owns a pool company—and owns Laura's car. Rod doesn't want to pay for the damages, so he hires Carlo. Meanwhile, Carlo has set his sights on Malibu (Sharon Tate) a beautiful but empty-headed beach beauty who is dating Harry, a weight-lifter. Rod's wife finds out about Laura and files for divorce. Somehow they all end up in Carlo's new house during a rainstorm. A mudslide sends the house down the hill onto the beach. Rod gets back together with his wife. Malibu and Harry end up back together, and Carlo ends up with Laura. |
