| Description: | A curling coach dies. As part of his will, he asks the team he used to coach to get together again and win a tournament. The skip of that team, Chris Cutter(Paul Gross) ditch the team 10 years before out of guilt for not reporting a burned rock. He comes back, and he asks his estranged father Gordon (Leslie Nielsen) to be the team coach. Chris reconnects briefly with his old girlfriend, but realizes at the end that he's more in love with her sister Amy (Molly Parker). On the last throw, with the tournament on the line, there's another burned stone. This time Chris calls it. Out of sportsmanship, his opponents allow him to rethrow. Christ wins the tournament with an impossible shot and ends up with Amy. |
