Description:Boring Larry Wilson (William Powell) jumps off a ocean liner to save the life of Doc Ryan (Frank McHugh). During the rescue, Larry bumps his head and suddenly comes out of the amnesia he's had for 9 years. He's really a con man named George Carey. He and Doc determines to return to Larry's town to see what kind of con they can run. To Larry's surprise, he discovers that he's married to Kay (Myrna Loy) who is divorcing him to marry Herbert. Larry and Doc fake an oil strike on a plot of land and get all the local businessmen plotting to buy it off him. But while the scam is going on, Larry falls for Kay. As she gets to know the new Larry, she's attracted. She breaks off her engagement to Herbert. Larry decides to go straight, stay in town, and stay married to Kay, with Doc as a business associate. (Doc is willing to go along because Larry saved his life.) Herbert thinks he's got a corner on the oil deal and spends a huge wad of money.

Review - I Love You Again

This could have been a better movie except for an extended bit where Larry leads a scout troop into the woods and makes a mess of things. Two of the scouts are Alfalfa and Robert Blake from Little Rascals.
