Description:The Marx Brothers play the part of a producer (Groucho) and his assistants who are trying to put on a play in a theater connected to a hotel. The problem is that they've run out of money and are deep in debt. Wagner, the hotel manager, wanats them out. They come with all sorts of delaying tactics and false backers and somehow hold out long enough to stage the play, which is a big hit. Lucille Ball plays one of the actresses.

Review - Room Service

This was the only Marx Brothers movie that wasn't written for them. The entire movie takes place in and around a hotel. There are gags, of course, but not as many or as funny as usual. And there's no music. At times it seems as though the Marx Brothers are sitting around trying to figure out what to say or do next.
