Description:Doctor Jeff Cameron (Robert Mitchum) is dating a nurse, but that doesn't keep him from falling in love with Margo (Faith Domergue), a mental patient who attempted suicide. Jeff goes to her house, expecting to find Margo's father to tell him they were in love. But Margo's father (Claude Rains) turns out to be her husband. Jeff and the husband quarrel. Jeff ends up with a concussion that makes it hard for him to track, so he believes Margo when she tells him that he killed her husband. They take off for the Mexican border, chased by the police. Jeff's condition gets worse, but he still manages to find out that Margo has played him. She tries to kill him and cross the border, but he follows. She shoots at him and gets shot herself. With her dying words, she clears Jeff. Jeff recovers, and his nurse friend forgives him.

Review - Where Danger Lives

I like Robert Mitchum, but nobody could possible be as stupid as his character in this movie. They gave him a concussion to explain his poor decision making, but even that wasn't enough. Faith Domergue's Margo wasn't nearly attractive enough to seduce men that way she was portrayed in this movie—she was simply annoying and pouty.
