Description:New York business man Larry Blake (Melvyn Douglas) goes on a ski vacation and falls in love with Karin (Greta Garbo), his instructor. They get married, but soon quarrel when Larry wants to return to New York and Karin wants to stay in the mountains. Larry takes off, and when she gets tired of waiting, Karin follows. She pretends to be Karin's twin sister Katherine and acts like a woman of the world to make Larry jealous. But he's on to here tricks and plays along. He tells "Katherine" that he's returning to the mountains to ask Karin for a divorce. After much silliness, Larry confesses that he knows the masquerade and the reconcile.

Review - Two-Faced Woman

I've always avoided Garbo movies by instinct. I now know my instincts were correct. This is an awful movie, and she was a terrible actress. When she tried to look sexy, she looked like she had a stomach ache. When she tried to look sweet and romantic, she looked drunk. She had absolutely no allure and at no time could you forget you were looking at Garbo and believe in either of her characters.
