A pretty good suspense film. I actually caught the mistake Richard made to Mark, so I figured out what was going on, but it was still good.

| Description: | Richard Mason (Humphrey Bogart) is married to Katherine (Rose Hobart) but in love with Katherine's sister Evelyn (Alexis Smith). Desperate to be with Evelyn, Richard murders Katherine and rigs it to look like murder. Family friend and psychiatrist Mark Hamilton (Sydney Greenstreet) catches Richard in a lie. To get proof, he plants a series of clues to make Richard think Katherine is still alive. Finally, Richard goes to the accident scene to look for Katherine's body. The police are there waiting, knowing that Richard could only find the spot if he had committed the murder. |
