| Description: | McClain (Jim Brown) rolls into town with an idea to rob the L.A. Coliseum during a football game. He gathers a cast of crooks (Ernest Borgnine, Julie Harris, Jack Klugman, Warren Oates, and Donald Sutherland). The robbery goes off as planned. McClain hides the money in the apartment of his girlfriend (Diahann Carroll). When the landlord enters her apartment he discovers the money and kills the girl. Crooked cop Brill (Gene Hackman) finds the money and keeps it. McClain's partners think he took the money and try to beat it out of him. When that doesn't work, they try to kill him. McClain partners with Brill to kill the others and split the money. |
