Review - Farewell, My Lovely

Mitchum takes his portrayal of Marlowe as a world-weary detective to extremes, playing him as half asleep the entire time. I know this was hard-boiled detective stuff, but there was nobody in the movie to even begin rooting for, including a seedy, worn-out Marlowe.
