| Description: | An unscrupulous outlaw, Johnny Lawler (Sam Elliot) talks Molly a lonely, sex-starved sheriff's wife (Vera Miles) into helping him escape from prison. Molly things she's in love, but soon finds out Johnny just used her. Having no other options, she sticks with him. Along the way they pick up an Indian baby that Molly adopts. Molly finally sees how heartless Johnny is when he decides to kill the baby to quicken their pace. She shoots him and takes his body—and the baby—and claims the reward for Johnny. |
