| Description: | Aspiring reporter Sonya Winter (Diana Rigg) discovers the existence of an assassination bureau that kills people for money. She is hired by newspaper owner Lord Bostwick (Telly Savalas) to expose the bureau. She poses as a customer and hires bureau chief Ivan Dragonmiloff (Oliver Reed) to kill ... himself. Here things get murky. Ivan challenges the other members of the bureau to kill him before he can kill them. He travels around Europe with Sonya in tow (to write the story) and soon the two of them fall in love. Then it turns out that Bostwick is using the opportunity to bomb a conference of all the crowned heads of Europe to start a war. Ivan and Tonya stop the plot and Ivan is knighted. |
