Description:Weird psychological drama about a man (James Garner) who wakes up in Central Park with no memory. During the course of the day, he wanders about New York, trying to figure out who he is. He meets three women (Katharine Ross, Suzanne Pleshette, and Jean Simmons), mistaking each of them for his wife, Grace. They serve as points of flashback in which he remembers pieces of his life—from its early promise, to compromising choices, to wealthy indulgence and cynicism. Finally he remembers that his real wife, Grace, attempted to take her life. He rushes to the hospital to her bedside and, at the very end, she reaches for his hand as a symbol of redemption.

Review - Mister Buddwing

Good acting, particularly by the women. Garner was asked to do a lot of weird stuff (and said later this was his least favorite movie). But ultimately, the movie was just too strange to like.
