Review - Lusty Men, The
Hayward is excellent as the long-suffering wife. The movie felt a little long, but the time it took to develop characters paid off.

| Description: | Jeff McCloud (Robert Mitchum) is a champion rodeo rider who quits because of an injury. He meets Wes and Louise (Susan Hayward) Merritt and teaches Wes what he knows about rodeo. Louise wants to settle down and start a ranch, but Wes gets rodeo in his blood and chooses life on the road. Jeff tags along, hoping Louise decides to give up on Wes and choose him. When it becomes apparent that she won't, Jeff goes back to riding broncos and gets killed. Wes decides to quit rodeo and settle down with Louise. |
